Before joining Matrix,Andy helped start Grand Junction Networks, an Ethernet switch business which is now a major division at Cisco. Previously he worked for 3Com, where he built a new division focused on network adapters and hubs. Prior to that, Andy managed marketing for Intel’s flagship microprocessor, the 8086. Today Andy is working with several young companies: Ambarella provides HD video and image processing solutions; Cyphort secures enterprises against advanced cyber-attacks; Framehawk delivers fast secure mobile access to enterprise applications; Panzura provides enterprise cloud storage controllers; Sila Nanotechnologies is developing advanced battery materials; Skyfire optimizes video in the cloud for mobile operators; and SpiderCloud Wireless makes enterprise mobile broadband systems.
