In October 2007 he took responsibility for the establishment of the EBRD Shareholder Special Fund and was responsible for the Official Co-financing Unit. He assumed his current position in January 2011.An Austrian national, Mr Auboeck graduated from the Wirtschaftsuniversitaet Vienna and holds a PhD in Economics. He was a guest student at the College of Commerce in St Gallen, Switzerland, and at the George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
