He also served as Senior Vice President, Technology and Corporate Development, and CTO of Compaq Computer Corp. Before that, Mr. Strecker was with Digital Equipment Corp. for 28 years in various executive and senior technical positions, most recently as SVP Corporate Strategy & Technology and CTO.Mr. Strecker holds a Ph.D., MS, and BS in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and holds 16 patents and is the author of numerous technical publications.
