In 1984, as CEO for Orion Systems, Bill demonstrated the ability to scale revenue from start up to million in three-and-a-half years. In 1987, he sold the company for $130million to Comsat.His most recent position held was with ADC Telecommunications where he started as VP of Marketing and was promoted to CEO in 1991. Over the next ten years, he grew the company from $300 million to over $3 billion in revenue. While at ADC, Bill established a corporate venture group and that invested in over 30 start-up companies. He brings significant experience as a board member, investor, and advisor having served on over a dozen companies' boards and negotiated over 20 mergers and acquisitions transactions worth over billion.Bill received his BSEE from Northeastern University and earned his MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1985.
