Dr. Wan has been an Executive Director of China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. since June 16, 2006 and China Life Property and Casualty Insurance Company Limited since November 2006. He has been a Director of China Life Asset Management Company Limited since January 2006 and China Life-CMG since 1999. He serves as Director of China Life Pension Company Limited, China Life Charity Foundation, the Deputy Director of China Association of Actuaries, the Deputy Director of Insurance Association of China, the Executive Director of Insurance Institute of China and Director of China Insurance Guarantee Fund Committee. He has been Director at China Guangfa Bank Co., Ltd. (aka GuangDong Development Bank Co. Ltd) since March 17, 2009. He served as a Director of Hong Kong branch of Tai Ping Life Insurance Company. He has 27 years of experience in the life insurance industry, and was awarded special allowance by the State Council. Dr. Wan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Jilin College of Finance and Trade, Master of Business Administration Degree from Open University of Hong Kong and also holds a Doctorate in Finance from Nankai University in Tianjin. Dr. Wan also holds a Ph.D in Economics and is a Senior Economist.
