He is a co-founder of Excelan, a networking company that sold in 1989 for $225 million, and then went on to launch a series of companies and sit on a long list of company boards. Mishra is also a member of TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs since inception and has served as president and global board of trustees and remains very active with TiE.Mishra holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Benares Hindu University, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
