He has served on a number of National Research Advisory Boards including AHRQ, NSF, NAE and IOM. He has authored two books, 50 publications and over 200 presentations at national and international meetings. He has been a management consultant to over 30 health care organizations in the area of strategy, productivity and quality improvement.
