Since 1995 Mr. Trøim has been a Director of Seatankers Management in Cyprus. In this capacity he has acted as Chief Executive Officer for the public company Frontline. Mr. Trøim has served as a director of Seadrill Limited (or Seadrill) and was also the Chief Executive Officer until the takeover and integration of Smedvig ASA. Mr. Trøim is a member of the boards of the public companies Golden Ocean, Aktiv Kapital ASA (OSE) and Marine Harvest ASA (OSE).
