Her Ph.D. thesis in Activation and transcription of surface antigen genes in trypanosomes. In 1981, Ms. De Lange received her Doctoraal exam, highest honors. from U. Amsterdam and NIMR, Mill Hill, UK. Her Doctoral thesis in Chromatin structure of the human ß-globin gene locus.
