He joined American Airlines from international accounting partnership firm Peat Marwick & Company, which is now known as KPMG.Tom earned a master of business administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Baylor University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He serves on the board of directors of Qualcomm, Inc. and the executive board of the Cox School of Business at SMU.
