He also made a mark in education, having been one of the first to defend an academic thesis about bitcoin and performing solid research at the Institute of Economic Affairs focusing on the macro economic aspects of bitcoin and the blockchain. Connected to the academia and the traditional financial industry alike, he is a frequent speaker at top class institutions and events such as Oxford University, George Washington University, Eurofinance and the Brazilian Central Bank. Holds a master in Economics and International Management, having attended the University of London.
