Tarek Amin is a successful serial entrepreneur & angel investor who founded the premier online recruitment and career development portal in the MENA region CareerMidEast.com, before the turn of the millennium, which was acquired by OT Ventures and later Wuzzuf.com.Amongst his ventures Tarek establishing Connect Ads, the first digital mediahouse bringing the likes of MSN Messenger and Hotmail to the Digital ad space in the MENA region. He served as managing partner & executive producer at Alkarma Edutainment providing content development, production, post production, outreach a well as product licensing through a master licensing agreement with Sesame Workshop. Tarek also founded Zanad.tv the first creative hotshop in the MENA region with a core competency in video animation and brand character development. Having diverse experience in founding, monetizing, and managing businesses across Print, TV, and Digital Media, Tarek has served as an advisor, strategist and has successfully executed M&A's with some of the leading media platforms across the Arab world.With a passion in creating and nurturing a vibrant ecosystem for entrepreneurship, Tarek is as a mentor, advisor, speaker & judge in numerous events and networks including Riseup Summit, Startup Weekend, Turn8 Accelerator, Flat6Labs, Arabnet and the AUC School of Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program amongst others, and continues to mentor startups and entrepreneurs from various parts of the world.Currently, Tarek is Group Head of Digital in Adline Media Network one of the biggest independent media-marketing networks with strong local operations in all major Arab markets, were he established the Digital Business for the Group.
