From 1982 to 1999, Steve worked at Torys, one of Canada's leading transactional law firms, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and financing. He became a partner at Torys in 1990 and from 1995 to 1998 was Managing Partner of Torys' European office based in London, England.Steve is Chairman of the Board of EZShield and Eurospec Manufacturing and serves on the Board of Directors of Porter Aviation Holdings and Continental Alloys and Services. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Richards Packaging and served on the Board of Directors of Trimaster Manufacturing and Farley Windows. He holds a L.L.B from the University of Western Ontario and a M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Steve is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sunnybrook Foundation and the Canadian Opera Company.
