She serves as a Member of the Board of Barclays Bank (Suisse). She serves on the Board of the Foundation for Renewable Energy & Environment and on the International Committee for Barnard College, Columbia University. Nashaat is widely recognized as a Leader in financial services and a leading Business Woman, including "Woman Banker of the year 2007" by Businesswomen and Leaders Achievements Awards, "Leading Business Women in the Arab World" by the Financial Times in 2007 and 2008, "Top 100 women in Finance" by Financial News (Dow Jones) and was ranked 23rd among the "100 Most Powerful Arab Women" in 2011 by Arabian Business.
