SMIC also has customer service and marketing offices in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Taiwan, and a representative office in Hong Kong.SMIC competes with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Ltd., United Microelectronics Corporation, GlobalFoundries, Fujitsu Limited, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., and Toshiba Corporation.
