Sidney holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a B. He is also an alum of Singularity University’s Global Solutions Program, which he attended on a Google-sponsored scholarship in Silicon Valley, and a graduate of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy’s Advanced Studies Program in Germany. In 2019 he received the “Brazilian Diaspora Award”, granted by the Embassy of Brazil in Washington DC, for his work with innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
