Sidhaant Savara is a Senior Associate at the Sorenson Global Impact Investing Center since 2013. This student run center brings university students, impact investors, and social entrepreneurs together in a collaborative structure designed to develop the impact investing industry. Over the past year, Sidhaant has worked on several early stage impactinvestments in sectors ranging from eLearning, Renewable Energy, Micro-financing, SaaS and Healthcare. Other than investor reports, Sidhaant has also worked with start-up accelerators like Village Capital and Dell Social Innovation Challenge to help early stage companies draft better business models and understand the market and industry. While working on these projects over the last year, Sidhaant has been able to learn financial modeling and has created models for several in-house and third party investment reports. By utilizing his financial valuation skills, he has been instrumental in the investments made by the Center. To expand his skills, he has secured an internship at Cross Creek Advisors in Salt Lake City to create financial models and investment reports on pre-IPO companies. Sidhaant is currently finishing his final year in obtaining a BS in Finance from the University of Utah. After graduation, he intends to work at a Venture Capital or Private Equity firm.
