During his tenure, Shanda raised more than $450 million of capital for expansion and acquisitions, and its market cap reached $3 billion. Prior to 2002, Mr. Li was the founding member of Zhongrong Fund Management Company and an investment banker with China Southern Securities Company Limited. Mr. Li received his Master's degree in economics from Nankai University in Tianjin, China and B.A. from Hebei Normal University.
