He then assumed the position of the Chief Executive Officer of MIDF Amanah Ventures where he directly managed the proprietary venture capital fund including the investment portfolios. With his wealth of experience, he was able to assist various corporations in preparing and undertaking corporate restructuring and various corporate finance and investment programmes. He provided counsel on corporate matters to the top management of companies such as Khazanah Nasional Berhad, DRB Hicom Berhad, MARA Holding as well as various listed and unlisted companies. He was the nominated director in several of these companies of diverse business fields and operations. Over the last eleven (11) years, Shaik Taufik has been active as a committee member in Malaysian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (“MVCA”). He served at several Executive Committees for a number of years in which his last position was as the Vice Chairman of MVCA for 2010/2011.
