Prior to joining JazzPharmaceuticals in January 2012, he was the founder and principal investor of Azur Pharma, and served as Azur Pharma’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Previously he held various positions with Elan Corporation, a pharmaceutical company, including managing the corporate development function, the drug delivery division, R&D and U.S. operations.Seamus Mulligan has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the U.S. National Pharmaceutical Council until 2004.Seamus Mulligan holds a B.Sc. (Pharm) and M.Sc. from Trinity College, Dublin.
