He has led ITC Infotech India Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC, as its Managing Director from May 2006 to August 2009. He has also been on the Boards of ITC Infotech's wholly owned subsidiaries in the UK and USA. Prior to that, Puri was the Managing Director of Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd, a joint venture subsidiary company of ITC in Nepal. Besides being on the Boards of other subsidiary and associate companies of ITC, he is also a Director on the Board of Tobacco Institute of India, Member of the Executive Council of The Indian Society of Advertisers and past member of the Board of Governors of Media Research Users Council.He is Chairman of FICCI FMCG Committee 2015 and Chairman of the Agri & Food Processing Task Force of CII Eastern Region 2015. He is also a Member of the FICCI National Executive Committee 2015 and Member of CII Eastern Regional Council 2015-16.
