Sam Thapaliya (born 28 June 1998, in Bharatpur, Chitwan) is a Nepalese entrepreneur, investor, and blockchain founder, best known for establishing Zebec Network, a decentralized payment infrastructure platform focused on real-time payroll and continuous financial transactions. He developed an early interest in computer programming at the age of 13.After completing his early education, he moved to California, United States, to pursue higher studies at Menlo College, where he studied technology and entrepreneurship.During his academic years, Thapaliya co-founded ASMI, an AI and video analytics startup. In 2020, he received the Menlo College Entrepreneur of the Year award. In 2021, he founded Zebec Network, originally launched on the Solana blockchain as a continuous settlement protocol. The company later expanded into broader Web3 financial infrastructure, including payroll, payments, and treasury management solutions. His work focuses on enabling real-time financial systems through blockchain technology.
