Sam Shafie is a Co-Founder of pitchIN, the premier Malaysian crowd funding platform that he co-founded in June 2012. To date, pitchIN has seen the largest amount crowd funded in South East Asia in its platform as well as recording the highest number of people supporting a single project. With the Government focusing its attention to allowing equitycrowd funding in Malaysia, pitchIN has also sets it’s target to also operate it. Sam also founded WatchTower and Friends (WTF) Sdn Bhd, an accelerator of tech startups. The WTF Accelerator opened its 1st batch of startups in January 2015 with 8 startups. The WTF Accelerator will also be hosting the first ever ASEAN Startup Campus Accelerator in conjunction with the 1ASEAN Entrepreneurial Summit in August 2015. Sam is also currently a Committee Member of the Malaysian Business Angel Network (MBAN).
