Hernandez-Ramirez was former Chairman of Universidad Iberoamericana, Member of the Board of Universidad de las Americas, Member of the Council for Mexico City´s Historic Downtown (Patronato del Centro Histórico), Member of the International Advisory Committee of the FED (Federal Reserve Bank of New York).His professional interests took Hernandez-Ramirez to become Chairman of the Mexican Stock Exchange from 1974 to 1979 and Chairman of the Mexican Banking Association from 1993 to 1994. Simultaneously, he was a member of the Government Board of the Central Bank and Bancomext the Mexican Eximbank, as well as some of the most influential business organizations in Mexico.Hernandez-Ramirez holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
