Robert Conconi is a Partner Emeritus at Conconi Growth Partners (“CGP”). He brings a wealth of experience as a serial-entrepreneur who built and sold several companies over the course of his career.Robert started his career in retail banking at the Bank of Montreal in 1969, before going out on his own as a mortgage broker. Eventually, Bob found aniche in the property title search and transfer business, and went on to become one of the original creators of the Search and Registration Industry. In 1989 he co-founded Canadian Securities Registrations Systems (“CSRS”), and helped build CSRS into Canada’s leading provider of search and registration services.CSRS was named one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Private Companies from 1999 to 2006 until its subsequent merger. As CEO, Robert navigated the company’s acquisition of it’s largest competitor, CCNS Corporate Services in 1998 and its merger with Resolve Business Outsourcing Income Fund (“RBO”) in 2006. He served as a Director of the General Partner of RBO from 2006 to 2009, and as Trustee for RBO from April 2009 to 2010. In 2009 RBO was acquired by Davis + Henderson (“DH”).In 2003, Robert established the Robert L. Conconi Foundation, a private family foundation with a focus on giving in four areas: health, poverty, education and arts. As a cancer survivor, Robert and the foundation are particularly passionate supporters of Cancer research. Robert has also been a Director of the BC Cancer Foundation since 2012.
