In his current capacity, Robert has been widely recognized for having built an innovative, IP-centric, and big data digital platform that has successfully converted online literary content into many popular TV dramas, movies, animation films, published books, and online and mobile games.Prior to Shanda, Robert served as Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific TMT Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Furthermore, Robert has held several senior management positions in other renowned financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Nomura at their New York, Menlo Park and Hong Kong offices. Robert began his career at IBM in 1992.Robert was awarded the 2014 Economic Leader of China by China Economic Development Forum. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Copyright Society of the People’s Republic of China.Robert earned his Master of Management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, with a Fulbright scholarship.
