From 2010 until 2012, he served as IBM’s General Manager of Business Analytics.Prior to becoming President and CEO of Cognos, Robert held several senior executive roles at the company including Senior Vice President of Application Development Tools, Senior Vice President of Products, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Customer Services, Chief Corporate Officer and Chief Financial Officer.Robert is a director of ServiceSource International, Inc, MSCI Inc., Shopify, and Halogen Software Inc. He has been a Member of Technology Advisory Board of Bridge Growth Partners LLC as well as an advisor to Mistral Venture Partners. He holds Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from University of Ottawa and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
