Dr. Oliveira has heldacademic positions globally and co-founded 2D Materials Pte Ltd (2DM) in 2015, where he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Under his leadership, 2DM became a leader in the development of graphene technologies and other nanomaterials. Dr. Oliveira is also active in creating international standards in ISO Technical Committee TC229, advocating for advances in graphene and nanomaterials around the world. He is currently Executive Director of YGT Ventures and Investments, a Venture Builder for Deeptech startups in Singapore and Florianópolis
