He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Singapore University of Technology and Design(SUTD), the Tropical Marine Science Institute(TMSI) Management Board at NUS, the Centre for Remote Imaging, Sensing and Processing (CRISP) Management Board, the Scientific Advisory Board(SAB) of the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology Centre (SMART), and the SAB of the Institute for Mathematical Sciences(IMS).He is a n Adjunct Professor at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the NUS.
