As an investor, advisor and board member I engage with entrepreneurs and management teams in our portfolio companies, helping each company unlock itsfull potential. I started my career in 1983 when I co-founded Damgaard Data and grew the company to become a leader in the market for ERP software to small and medium sized enterprises, ultimately bringing the company to a successful IPO on NASDAQ OMX in 1999. In 2000, we merged with Navision Software, and less than two years later, in 2002, Navision was acquired by Microsoft for $1.45B – the biggest acquisition made by Microsoft at the time. I was appointed Executive Vice President of Microsoft Business Solutions in EMEA and stayed there until founding Damgaard Company in 2003.
