His key roles in the architecture, design and development of these machines led to the commercial development of Sun Microsystems' first high-performance multiprocessor system family, which included the SS1000 and SS2000. Pradeep holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, as well as a Master's degree in the same discipline from the University of Hawaii. In addition, Pradeep holds both a Master's and a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
