PJ Hyett is a software developer and entrepreneur who co-founded GitHub in 2008, along with Chris Wanstrath and Tom Preston-Werner, to simplify sharing code and make it easy to collaborate on building software. Today, GitHub is the largest code host in the world, with a community of five million people building software together.Prior tofounding GitHub, PJ was a partner at Err Free, and a senior software engineer at CNET Networks. PJ grew up in Naperville, Illinois and after graduating from North Central College with a BS in Computer Science, he moved to San Francisco where he currently lives with his wife.
