Paul Newton is a startup investor at Mosaic Private Equity. Paul is a Chartered Accountant who qualified with KPMG in 1988. In 1991 he was a founder Director of the private equity backed Davenham Group, which he left in 1994 to help establish the Royal Bank of Scotland’s leveraged finance activities. In 1999 he was recruited to run Murray Johnstone’s (now Aberdeen Asset Management) North West office,which he did until he left to co-found Mosaic Private Equity with Mike Rogan in 2006. He has extensive experience of all aspects of private company investment. Paul has extensive board room experience with board positions including Brookhouse Aerospace Limited, Styles & Wood, Inspirepac Limited and Fish Administration (Holdings) Limited.
