Prior to Microsoft, he spent five years working at Intel.Born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and educated in South Africa.He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town. Maritz also serves on the Board of the Grameen Foundation, and has an interest in the use of technology in the developing world.
