Nikhil serves on the Board of several non-profit organizations including the Heritage Society of Austin and Greenlights for non-profit success and he is a member of the advisory Board of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. He has published numerous articles and papers in scholarly journals on international business and global communications.
