Naina earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (Honors) from Delhi University Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi (India) in 1977. Naina attended Loreto Convent, Simla (India) Indian School Certificate Examination (specialisation in Science and Mathematics) from 1968 to 1973.
