Prior to joining Virgin, Michael was Assistant General Counsel of Credigy Solutions Inc. and General Counsel of Franklin Square Technologies Inc., a software company which he co-founded. Michael began his legal career in New York City as a Corporate Associate with Battle Fowler and then Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, where he spent over six years focusing his practice on mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions in a wide-range of industries. Michael has a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester and a JD from Albany Law School of Union University, New York.
