He and his research teams have published numerous articles detailing the biochemistry of atherosclerosis, diabetes, and obesity with an emphasis on the mechanism by which drugs can alter these diseases. Dr. Pape serves as Scientific Advisor at Apjohn Ventures Fund. He serves as Observer of Akebia Therapeutics, Inc. He served as Director of ProNAi Therapeutics, Inc. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Biosciences Industry Association.
