Prior to entering the world of finance, Dr. Binebine was a practicing M.D. in New York. Dr. Binebine served as the personal physician to Malcolm Forbes, who was instrumental in assisting him in developing his contacts and gaining experience as an investor. Early on in his career in finance back in 1991, Dr. Binebine founded Gibraltar Enterprises, Inc., a global real estate investment firm. Since 1996, Dr. Binebine has represented investment funds including Carlyle, Central Partners and Castle Harbor. His close connections to a powerful global network of individuals and institutions allow him to consistently connect portfolio companies with potential investors, customers and collaboration partners. With this, Dr. Binebine was instrumental in the signing of several key deals for Vickers’ portfolio companies, notably Samumed, Matchmove Global and Lotaris. In 2012, Dr. Binebine moved to San Diego, California to take up responsibilities as a Board member of Samumed - the largest company in Vickers’ portfolio. Currently, Dr. Binebine serves on the Board of Directors of Lotaris, Matchmove and California Intercontinental University. Dr. Binebine graduated from the University of Bordeaux and earned an M.D. from La Sorbonne. He is a member of the Arab Bankinge Association of North America. Dr. Binebine is fluent in Arabic, English, French, German, Spanish, Hebrew and Portuguese, and recently learned Mandarin.
