Most recently, Mr. Alturki has been appointed by the Saudi Government to the Board Of Trustees of the Kingdom’s National Museum.In addition, he is a former Chairman of the Advisory Council at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University, where he was instrumental in establishing Harvard’s first M.A. program in Contemporary Arabic Studies; a Former member of the Board of Trustees of Middlebury College in Vermont, U.S.A where he assisted in the establishment of its School of Arabic; a former Member of the Board of Trustees of the International College in Beirut; a former Member of the Board of Trustees of The Arab Open University; co-founder and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for the Rehabilitation of the Handicapped in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Alturki is a former member of the International Board Of Advisors of the Council On Foreign Relations; a founding shareholder and former Director of SAMBA (formerly Saudi-American Bank); a former Chairman of Arab Banking Corporation International Bank (ABCIB) in London. He is a Former member of the founding Board of Directors of Saudi Arabia’s Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu.Mr. Alturki holds a B.A. and M.A. in International Relations from the American University, Washington D.C. and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, California, U.S.A
