He sold thecompany in 2002 then started the first comparison e-commerce company in Japan which he took public in 2006. After two successful exits he joined Fon, a free Wi-Fi internet service provider, as Head of Asia. Fon has distributed over 6 million Wi-Fi routers with SoftBank and operating Japanese biggest Wi-Fi service today. In 2014, Junichi has been appointed as Head of Lookout Asia, America’s most successful mobile security company, where he partnered with KDDI replacing Japanese domestic vendors within a year. He also lead America’s fortune 500 company Assurant, Polaroid, PicsArt, DropBox and others in Japanese market.
