Julia won a bronze medal in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona in single-handed sailing, and has raced in the waters of four continents. These experiences shaped her into a deep lover of the ocean, and engendered profound respect for both the power and fragility of the natural world.Julia earned a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She has two courageous daughters, Lila and Claire, who keep her learning and laughing every day.
