Jürg Schäppi is a seed investor in Zürich focused on SaaS and Travel. Juerg Schaeppi is chairman and founding partner of 2Xideas. He is also a founding partner and principal shareholder of Bellevue Group AG, a Swiss securities firm primarily active in brokerage, corporate finance and asset management. Since 1998 he has been active as an investor and an independent director on the boards of several Hedge Funds,including the Voltaire Fund, the Zadig Fund, diverse Funds within the Henderson ( ex-Gartmore) umbrella, as well as the Ratio, Montpelier and Verrazzano funds.He managed Bank am Bellevue as Chief Executive Officer for a ten year period from 2000-2010. Prior to Bellevue, Juerg Schaeppi was employed as an investment banker by S.G. Warburg in Geneva as well as Julius Baer and Citicorp in Zurich. Juerg holds a degree from the Hochschule St. Gallen (lic.oec) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
