Jose Bonchristiano is an investor and former executive. He was founder and CEO of Tempo Participacoes, a healthcare insurance company Mr. Bonchristiano founded in 2000, led as CEO through its public listing on BOVESPA (Sao Paulo stock exchange) in 2007, and later became chairman of the board. Tempo Participacoes was acquired by The Carlyle Group in2015.Jose Bonchristiano is also a board member and investor in +Proxima, a multi-channel distribution company in Brazil, and in Par Participacoes. Prior to Tempo Participacoes, Mr. Bonchristiano worked at Goldman Sachs in New York City and McKinsey in Sao Paulo.Jose Bonchristiano received his B.A. in public administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Sao Paulo and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
