John Berton is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Georgian Partners. He also oversees fund operations, fundraising, and LP relationships for the firm.Prior to Georgian Partners,John spent 11 years at VRG Capital where he was responsible for winning and accelerating a broad range of investments through due diligence, deal structuring, fundraising, M&A, operations support, and post-investment strategic support.John received a BA at Queen’s University and a degree in computer science from the University of Calgary. He received his Certified Financial Analyst designation in 1998 and is also on the Board of the Canadian Venture Capital Association.
