The reaction of many was similar: comment on the wisdom of such a human decision that puts personal life ahead ofprofessional and family ahead of work.Almost nobody has implications that a CFO to step down at the end of the first quarter when to sign the accounts for the previous year. Insurance companies that are solid but is also a good time to go scot-free and avoid taking any responsibility for the accounts of the year. The difference between going before March 31 or leave on April 1 for a CFO is important, but it is not a positive sign for a company.Personally I admire most leaders who sacrifice and continue to soldier doing his job than those who decide to enjoy life and family. Especially when those leaders do not need to make more money and do it for a sense of responsibility to their obligations. I understand people who leave their jobs for attending a sick family member and similar topics, but "retiring" and stop having investment projects or simply "enjoy" ... I do not know, I feel somewhat responsible.
