He led Kirkland’s entrance into Asia with the opening of the Hong Kong office in 2007. He also led the strategy and implementation of the significant transformation and growth of the Firm’s offices in New York and London.Prior to taking on the full-time role of Chairman, Jeff concentrated his practice on structuring and negotiating complex business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and going private transactions.Jeff earned many accolades throughout his career. According to Chambers Global, clients described him as a “lawyer who grasps the big picture with every transaction.” The Best Lawyers in America recognized him every year since 2006 and Crain's Chicago Business named him to “Who's Who” in Chicago Business every year since 2012.Jeff serves on the Wisconsin School of Business Advisory Board, the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law Advisory Board, and the Board of Trustees of the Ravinia Festival Association.
