During her stint at EDBI, Jean spent one year in the Silicon Valley as Director (Investments) of its VC life science fund, Singapore Bio-Innovations of America, Inc and close to one year as Vice President (Business Development) of A-Bio Pte Ltd, a contract manufacturing organization for biologics.She holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry degree from University College, London. She is conversant in Chinese and understands a number of Chinese dialects.
