In 1992, he joined Crédit Agricole Ain – Saône & Loire as Senior General Manager and then in 1995 took over the same position at Crédit Agricole Centre-est.In 1997, he became the head of relations with the Regional Banks at Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole and then in 2000 the Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Centre-est.From 2006 to January 2010, Jean-Paul Chifflet was the General Secretary of FNCA, the Vice Chairman of SAS Rue La Boétie, and a member of the boards of directors of Calyon, LCL and Siparex Associés (a Venture Capital company).In addition, he has been a member of the Economic and Social Council in Paris since 2007 and a member of the Co-federal Council and of the Executive of the Confédération Nationale de la Mutualité, de la Coopération et du Crédit Agricole (CNMCCA).Jean-Paul Chifflet, born in 1949 in Tournon-sur-Rhône (Ardèche), has two children.He is a graduate of Institut des Hautes Finances de Paris (IHFI), a Chevalier of the Ordre National du Mérite and an Officer of the Ordre du Mérite Agricole.
