James is an Investment Director on the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund’s Innovation Team with a primary responsibility for the fund’s venture capital portfolio. The ISIF is also building a portfolio of direct co-investments alongside VCs into high potential scaling opportunities with potential for long-term transformative impact in Ireland. Prior to working with the ISIF, James was a member of the investment team of the National Pensions Reserve Fund, a globally diversified Irish sovereign wealth fund that evolved into the ISIF in 2014. James holds a BSc Theoretical Physics and an MSc Computational Science from University College Dublin and is a CFA Charterholder.
